A special formation of three talented musicians from three different music genres. Júlia Karosi is a frequently seen guest on the most prestigious Hungarian and foreign stages. The jazz singer, who has a background with classical music, also impressively works with Gershwin and Cole Porter’s evergreen pieces and Béla Bartók's work.
Gábor Juhász is one of the greatest jazz guitarists of Hungary. He has contributed to several successful records as a composer, conductor, arranger and guitarist. He’s often seen in the trio in question, but the audience could already listen to his music in a duo and bigger jazz bands as well.
The foreign guest of the evening is Kristjan Randalu, who was born in Estonia but grew up in Germany. He studied in Stuttgart, London and New York and since then he contributed to 40 records and he was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2006. He's one of the most exciting artists of his generation. He is a remarkable soloist, composer as well as author of transcriptions. In 2018 he performed at the Estonian Music Week in Hungary.
Their program includes songs from Júlia Karosi's original albums, Hidden Roots and Without Dimensions, but parts of Béla Bartók’s Microcosmos can be heard on the performance as well.
