On the day of the European linguistic and cultural diversity, the European Language Cocktail Bar, - which will be held by various cultural institutes of Hungary - is welcoming the visitors to promote languages through games, native speakers, language classes and raffles.
After Finnish and Hungarian, Estonian is the third most widely spoken Finno-Ugric language. There are a bit more than one million Estonian speakers around the world, so we are safe to say that: speaking Estonian language is a superpower! Estonian is full of vowels that make the language sound very melodic. It also uses the latin alphabet and it’s pronunciation and grammatical structure is similar to Hungarian’s - so learning the Estonian grammar and words are relatively easy for a native Hungarian speaker.
Join us and get to know more about Estonian language at the event!
