Estonian Designers - Buildings of Budapest

Estonian Designers - Buildings of Budapest

At the Hungarian exhibition of the Venice Architecture Biennale two Estonian plans will be featured. The Othernity - Reconditioning Our Modern Heritage Exhibition is looking for the answer to what the much-disputed heritage of modern architecture holds for the architects of the future. The curators invited 12 Central- and Eastern European architectural firms to rethink 12 iconic modern buildings of the era of Socialism in Budapest which were built in the second half of the 20th century, for showing a way to reconcile past and future architecture.
